Thrilling truck show this fall to be held in South Carolina

Truckers in the Charlotte, South Carolina region may want to attend its exciting annual trucker show, hosted by the local motor speedway this October. According to the event’s website, this big rig extravaganza will feature many fun and interesting activities geared towards life on the road.

Those interested in the field of truck driving can attend these types of shows to gather information about CDL training courses or to simply admire the modern equipment that is being used in trucking today. Truckers from all corners of the country will compete in drag races and truck beauty contests to the delight of hundreds of fans.

Charlie Daniels, country music singing star, will be performing on the Friday of the event. This performer wrote the American classic single The Devil Went Down to Georgia, and will play several of his other hits as well.

This annual truck show is sponsored by the Freightliner company this year. The Freightliner website states that they are a subsidiary for Daimler Trucks North America, which is the continent's biggest big rig manufacturing business.
