Created: Monday, September 26th, 2011 05:01 pm

The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) is doing its part in assisting its members in understanding the ins and outs of what will make them successful truckers. This September, the organization will host a webinar titled 'What truck is right for me?' which will explain to all types of commercial drivers which equipment is best suited for their individual needs, reports Landline.

Drivers and fleet management owners are welcome to attend this happening online, which will instruct participants on which trucks and trailers are ideally equipped to handle their specific commercial business.

This event is open to the public for a fee, and access can be purchased in a package with other future webinars, which will cover topics such as CSA compliance and equipment financing. Those who cannot participate on the given dates may check out the webinars in the OOIDA's archives after the event has passed.

According to the organization's website, the OOIDA has given truckers a voice within the trucking industry and information on things such as CDL training for almost four decades. Through events such as this seminar, the OOIDA helps drivers accomplish their career goals while maintaining a high level of safety, security and health.
