The American Trucking Associations recently added Great Dane Trailers as an allied member, and both companies plan to use the partnership to promote growth in the trucking industry.
With the use of Great Dane's trailers, trucking companies involved with the ATA can benefit in fleet management, as well as work towards the goals of a more prosperous trucking industry.
"2012 promises to be another year full of challenges and opportunities for the trucking industry, as well as the supplier community that supports it," said Bill Graves, president and CEO of the ATA. "We are extremely happy to welcome Great Dane back as an ATA allied member to help us face those challenges and take advantage of those opportunities as we work for a more prosperous future for the trucking industry."
According to Fleet Owner magazine, the manufacturing facility for Great Dane Trailers in Terra Haute, Indiana, recently passed the 100,000 mark for trailer assemblies, and celebrated the hard work of the employees at the facility.
Cory Lookebill, plant manager of the Terra Haute facility, told the magazine the pride the company felt stems from the workers whose commitment leads to the exceptional quality of American manufacturing.
