Truckers attend informative sessions on road regulations

If truckers would like to learn about how the state of the transportation industry, they may wish to attend a conference where professionals will offer information about job opportunities, the latest technology and more. If drivers who have recently completed their CDL training or are looking to advance their career cannot make a trip to one of the national conventions, oftentimes there are smaller gatherings in local communities nationwide.

According to the Quincy Herald-Whig, a transportation summit will be hosted by John Wood Community College in Illinois this fall. Experts in regulatory laws in trucking will explain some of the new rules that have been put into place through the Department of Transportation’s Compliance, Safety and Accountability (CSA) program for all commercial drivers. All are welcome to attend this seminar, which can provide useful information about adhering to regulations while on the road.

In Dallas, Texas, there have been some interesting conventions being organized by officials from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in regards to fuel economy, reports Truck news. These types of demonstrations may benefit both truckers and fleet management owners, for emission rates in saving revenue on gas costs are often important parts of this kind of business.
